Director of the Department of Urban Design at the Prague Institute of Planning and Development (IPR Prague), is an authorized architect, urban designer, and planner. Jaromír is also a researcher and a lecturer at the Czech Technical University in Prague, where he earned his doctorate from the Faculty of Architecture. His studies at TU Delft in the Netherlands were instrumental in focusing his career on urban design and urban planning. Jaromír has worked at IPR Prague since 2012, where he previously participated in the preparation of the draft Metropolitan Plan for Prague. He has been an active member of the EUROCITIES Metropolitan Areas Working Group since 2014, cooperates regularly with the OECD, and has attended the World Congress of the International Union of Architects, among others. Jaromír is also a member of Board of Directors of the Czech Chamber of Architects.
